Winter 2023/24: 66 airlines fly from Berlin

The 2023/2023 winter flight schedule starts at Berlin-Brandenburg Airport at the end of October 24. 66 airlines offer flights to 130 destinations in 52 countries.

As a long-haul connection, Norse Altantic Airways will be flying from BER to Miami from December 15th. The new direct connection to the USA will be flown by the Norwegian airline once a week with a Boeing Dreamliner. From October 30th, Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings will be connecting the capital region with Dubai in the United Arab Emirates four times a week, on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. 

The 2023/2024 winter flight schedule offers numerous sunny destinations on medium-haul flights. EasyJet will be flying from BER to Cairo, the capital of Egypt, from December 17, 2023. The route between BER and Cairo's Sphinx International Airport is flown twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday, non-stop with a modern Airbus A320. In addition to Cairo, easyJet is offering connections to three other destinations in Egypt this winter. The popular seaside resort of Hurghada on the Red Sea will be served twice a week from September 26, 2023. From October 12, 2023 there will be flights to Marsa Alam up to three times a week. Sharm El Sheikh will be served twice a week by easyJet from November 1st. In addition, Air Cairo will also fly to this Egyptian holiday destination once a week for the first time.

The winter flight schedule also offers numerous options for travelers who want to experience winter on vacation. Two airlines are flying from BER to Tromsø for the first time. The Norwegian city will be served by Eurowings from December 10th and by Norwegian from January 18th, 2024, twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays.

In addition to the new destinations Dubai and Tromsø, Eurowings is also offering Rovaniemi in Finland for the first time. From January 13, 2024, the trip will go to the capital of Lapland twice a week, every Wednesday and Sunday. In addition, Eurowings is expanding the range of flights between BER and Innsbruck. From December 23rd to March 9th, 2024, the route will be flown twice a week with an Airbus A320. The direct connection is then included in the flight schedule every Wednesday and Saturday.

Volotea will be flying to Lyon from October 12th. The French metropolis is on the Spanish airline's flight schedule twice a week, every Thursday and Sunday. Along with Verona in northern Italy, Lyon is the airline's second new destination, which began flight operations at BER at the end of May 2023. The offer for the Canary Islands traditionally increases in the winter season. Back at BER are destinations like Lanzarote or La Palma.
