Cologne / Bonn Airport has secured an additional credit line for working capital in the amount of 63,5 million euros. This is granted by DZ Bank, Sparkasse Köln / Bonn, Hessische Landesbank, Nord LB and Postbank.

The 3-year, tailor-made working capital facility with an extension option, structured in the company's own finance department, is used to compensate for seasonal fluctuations and to pre-finance investment projects.

The Chief Financial Officer Torsten Cabinet emphasized that this successfully completed financing framework in a demanding economic environment, with no guarantee from the owners, ensures the financial stability and flexibility of the airport for the next few years. The interest rate in line with the market is based, among other things, on the good creditworthiness of Flughafen Köln / Bonn GmbH.
