Friedrichshafen Airport no longer has a connection to the Lufthansa hub in Frankfurt am Main since the beginning of the 2024 summer flight schedule period. However, there is now an innovation in the holiday flight sector.

From July 2024, passengers heading to Hurghada will have the choice of two airlines. On the one hand, Corendon Europe serves the Egypt route. What is new is that charter flights from Nesma Airlines will also be included in the flight schedule from July 16, 2024. According to the airport, these should be carried out on Tuesday, the day of traffic.

Lake Constance Airport's 2024 summer flight schedule no longer includes a single classic scheduled route. The discontinuation of Frankfurt flights by Lufthansa Cityline means that there is no longer a hub connection. The hoped-for “takeover” by the regional airline Skyalps did not materialize.

However, things are looking much better when it comes to holiday flights. The highlight this year: The comeback of non-stop flights to the Italian Mediterranean island of Elba. These flights will be operated by MHS Aviation with Dornier 328 on Fridays from May 17th to October 4th, 2024.

Corendon Airlines and Freebird Airlines offer their flight services towards Antalya. From the end of April 2024 there will be charter flights to Calvi (Corsica) operated by Avanti Air. Gran Canaria will be served by Smartwings until the end of April 2024. This route then goes into the summer break.

Heraklion will be served by both Marabu Airlines and Aegean in summer 2024. The last-mentioned carrier also connects Friedrichshafen with Rhodes. Avanti Air also flies to Preveza in charter with de Havilland Dash 8-400. Palma de Mallorca will be served by both Condor and Alba Star this season. With Wizz Air we go to Skopje.

There are individual charter flights in the 2024 summer timetable to the following destinations: Jersey (Blue Islands), Lamezia Terme (Sundair), Sonderborg (Air Alsie) and Tirana. Classic city flights that existed in the Intersky era can no longer be found in the Friedrichshafen flight schedule. According to reports, discussions with Skyalps are still ongoing, but the South Tyroleans have not yet made a decision. In any case, it won't go to Frankfurt am Main, because this route has become official Skyalps and Friedrichshafen Airport canceled.
