In the 2024 summer flight schedule, the German airline Avanti Air will operate non-stop flights between Klagenfurt and Paros on behalf of Springer Reisen. The tour operator offers passengers who want to go to Naxos that they can be transported via private boat transfer.

Non-stop flights with the de Havilland Dash 8-400 between Klagenfurt and Naxos would not be possible due to the fact that the runway at the Greek airport is very short. Furthermore, there is no fuel available at Naxos airport, so you would have to fly to another island to refuel before flying back.

“We have valued Springer Reisen as a reliable partner for our airport for years. I am very pleased that in 2024 - after a successful season last year - the island of Paros will again be served directly and weekly from Klagenfurt throughout the summer. A great and exclusive destination for our holidaymakers in Greece,” explains Maximilian Wildt, who was recently appointed managing director of Klagenfurt Airport.

Springer Reisen is therefore also offering non-stop flights to the nearby island of Paros in summer 2024. The German airline Avanti Air, which will fly with de Havilland Dah 8-400, has been commissioned to carry out the flights from Klagenfurt. “We are looking forward to working with Klagenfurt Airport and are starting the new flight season from Klagenfurt with our destination Paros with attractive family and early bird offers that can be booked until the end of January. The sister island of Naxos can be reached conveniently and easily via a 20-minute boat transfer, and is also ideal for island combinations,” says Andrea Springer, Managing Director of Springer Reisen.

The charter flights between Klagenfurt and Paros will be operated on Saturday from May 25th to September 28th, 2024. In the direction of the Carinthian state capital, the flight departs at 10:30 a.m. with arrival at 13:35 p.m. The opposite direction takes off at 14:20 p.m. and reaches the Greek island at 18:05 p.m.
