The 2023/24 winter flight schedule will also begin in Klagenfurt in a few weeks. The offer this season is extremely limited, as the low-cost airline Ryanair will no longer serve destinations such as Dublin, Manchester and Charleroi that were offered in the previous season. Eurowings' Cologne/Bonn flights also stopped some time ago.

Between January 13 and March 2, 2024, Austrian Airlines will offer a non-stop connection between Hamburg and the state capital of Carinthia. This is to be operated with the Embraer 195 machine. Also in the portfolio: the connection to the Vienna-Schwechat hub, which is to be served throughout the entire winter period. However, there is a renewed and sometimes selective reduction in frequencies.

The competitor Ryanair had the destinations London-Stansted, Manchester, Dublin and Charleroi in its program from Klagenfurt in the winter of 2022/23. Only London-Stansted remains for the upcoming season. The summer destinations Alicante and Palma de Mallorca are not served from Carinthia during the cold season. Ryanair is holding out the prospect of a possible expansion of connections from Klagenfurt for the 2024 summer flight schedule.

The Greece charter flights operated by Avanti Air for Springer Reisen will soon expire and go into the winter break. Shortly before the flight schedule change, Gruber Reisen still has the Czech Smartwings operate Paphos charters, but this destination will not be served in winter 2023/24 either. From today's perspective, the flight offering is limited to Vienna (AUA) and London-Stansted (Ryanair) with continuous service. Hamburg (AUA) will initially be offered for a few weeks in the new year.
