Attention bargain hunters: On Saturday, April 23, 2022, Flughafen München GmbH will be auctioning off items found in Hallbergmoos that were forgotten or lost at the airport and not picked up again.

The auction takes place as part of the Hallbergmoos folk festival in the marquee (corner Am Söldnermoos/Predazzoallee). The finds can be viewed in advance between 10:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. From 13:00 p.m., auctioneer Alfred Mittermeier will swing his hammer for the highest bids.

The selection of finds ranges from fashion jewelery to electronic items. “Surprise suitcases” are again included this year. The new owners may only explore the contents of these suitcases after the auction. Special “themed cases” that only contain children’s toys or cosmetics, for example, are also offered. In the electronics section, notebooks and cameras can be auctioned. Jewelry is also going under the hammer again this year. Lost property goes to the highest bidder and must then be paid for in cash. Some of the proceeds also benefit social projects, as the airport announced in a broadcast.
