Wizz Air currently flies significantly less from Vienna than before the corona pandemic. From Salzburg, the offer, which was served briefly in summer 2020, pauses completely. But that should change from April 2021 - if the pandemic allows it. The lowcoster plans to gradually ramp up the program.

A route list for the Vienna and Salzburg bases sent by Wizz Air to Aviation Direct shows that the Bucharest and Skopje destinations should no longer be reactivated from Mozart's city. In Vienna it hits Bremen. The three routes mentioned are also no longer listed on the low-cost airline's homepage.

In the course of the transmission of the routes planned from Austria, Wizz Air expressly pointed out that these represent the planning status as of January 7, 2021. Due to the pandemic situation and the associated entry and quarantine regulations, changes are possible at any time. The airline will fix the “final” summer flight schedule 2021 for Salzburg and Vienna as late as possible. Most of our competitors have also chosen this approach.
