Fully vaccinated people can now re-enter Dubai without any problems, the requirement for a PCR test before departure has been lifted.

Passengers traveling to the UAE with Emirates now only have to present a valid proof of vaccination against Covid-19 to the airline. "NCEMA's update of the Covid-19 entry requirements is a positive reflection of the easing of the situation. More and more destinations are reopening their borders and national regulations are also being relaxed. Dubai remains a popular travel destination and we expect the latest developments to have a positive impact on demand for flights from Vienna,” said Martin Gross, Emirates Area Manager for Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia , Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro and Bosnia.

Both digital and analogue vaccination certificates must have a QR code in order to be valid. In printed form, a certificate of the recovered status is also possible as a travel document, whereby a maximum of one month may elapse between recovery and entry. Unvaccinated travelers must still provide a negative PCR test result, no older than 48 hours.
