The holiday airline Edelweiss is now selling PCR home kits on its website. These cost 165 Swiss francs and are sent by post. The samples must then be handed over to a partner laboratory.
The Swiss sister company wants to make it easier for holidaymakers to obtain negative PCR results, which are absolutely necessary for entry in many countries. The price, however, is comparatively high. The sample must then be sent to the laboratory or handed in at Zurich-Kloten Airport. The findings should be sent by email no later than the next day.
