Actually, on April 12, 2021, Eurowings wanted to reactivate the routes taken over by Austrian Airlines from Stuttgart to Graz and from Düsseldorf to Linz with aircraft of the type Airbus A319. As reported: Nothing will come of this - at least for the time being - because the recording of both routes has been postponed.

A Eurowings spokesman explained the decision to Aviation Direct as follows: “Like all other routes in our European network, the routes STR-GRZ and DUS-LNZ you mentioned are of course subject to the special situation of the corona pandemic. Compared to the "normal situation" before Corona, this means an overall significantly lower demand, coupled with high volatility. "

Although the flights can be booked on the Eurowings website from the end of May 2021, the company has not confirmed this date. There is no specific time for the inclusion of the two routes. The Eurowings spokesman said: “Against this background, we have decided to postpone the new admission. A new date has not yet been set ”. In contrast to holds Austrian Airlines in reactivating Graz-Düsseldorf on April 12, 2021.
