In November 2021 it was announced that another Maltese cargo airline had been founded, Challenge Air Cargo. The approval process now seems to have progressed further because the startup is looking for pilots.

The new subsidiary of the Challenge Group is to operate the Boeing 767 machine type. Accordingly, the Internet is used to search for captains and first officers for these aircraft. Applications can currently only be made online.

The group of companies already has two carriers in the group and is founding a third airline with Challenge Air Cargo. The future fleet will consist of converted B767-300BDSF aircraft. More information about the newly founded airline in this article.
