Hamburg Airport takes stock of the Easter tourist traffic: over the holidays, the airport welcomed an average of 5.500 arriving and departing passengers per day.

This means that the number of passengers is still at a low level despite the holiday season. According to its own information, the airport only recorded around twelve percent of the passengers from the same period in 2019 over Easter. Most travelers were on Maundy Thursday. More than 6.850 passengers used Hamburg Airport that day. According to the information, around 80 direct destinations are currently offered from Hamburg - including the popular holiday island of Mallorca.
