The airline Eurowings, which has recently tried to position itself as a so-called value carrier, is increasing the connection to Alicante in Spain from Hamburg. This should also be served on Tuesdays.

Eurowings plans to fly the route twice a week from June 2022. The cheapest flight ticket should cost about 50 euros one way. “Northern Germans are enthusiastic about holidays in Spain. All the better that we can now offer even more flexibility with flight times with the new Eurowings connection to Alicante. Alicante is the perfect travel destination for a relaxing holiday on the Costa Brava, because the lively port city is in close proximity to picturesque Mediterranean beaches,” says Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport.

In the 2022 summer timetable, Eurowings offers the largest range of flights from Hamburg Airport with more than 60 destinations. The non-stop flight from Hamburg to Alicante takes off every Saturday in May at 14:45 p.m. The flight time is about three and a half hours. From June, Eurowings will also serve the route every Tuesday with a departure from Hamburg at 14:55 p.m.
