The Swiss holiday airline Chair Airlines is once again launching an Airbus A320 with HB-JOK. The machine is 12,6 years old and was previously used by Russian Aeroflot as VQ-BCM.
In Ostrava, Czech Republic, the medium-haul jet has already been given the livery of the new operator. It is currently planned that the HB-JOK will be put into commercial liner service from Basel on December 18, 2021. The first flight will be in the direction of Pristina.
The Chair Airlines fleet now consists of three aircraft again. There are two A319s and one A320. In July of the previous year, the HB-JOH (A319) was badly damaged during maintenance work and was written off as a total loss. Minority shareholder Enterair temporarily helped out with the Boeing 737.
