With Marathon Airlines, a new carrier will be used in charter traffic from Innsbruck in the 2023 summer flight schedule. On behalf of Idealtours and Christophorus Reisen, the Greek aviation company will serve those charter routes that were previously operated with Trade Air's Fokker 100.

The background to the change of operating carrier is that the Croatian airline the last machine of the former Dutch manufacturer is decommissioned. Therefore, the tour operators had to look for an alternative and struck gold with Marathon Airlines. However, there is also less capacity available per flight, because the Embraer 175 aircraft type has fewer seats than the previous Fokker 100.

Marathon Airlines will fly to the following destinations on behalf of Idealtours:

  • Preveza (MTO 0961/MTO 0962, Saturday, May 20.05th - October 14.10.2023th, XNUMX)
  • Kefalonia (MTO 0983/MTO 0964, Saturday, 20.05.-07.10.2023)
  • Kavala (MTO 0953/MTO 0954, Friday, May 19.05th - October 13.10.2023th, XNUMX)
  • Kalamata (MTO 0971/MTO 0972, Sunday, May 21.05 - October 15.10.2023, XNUMX)
  • Thessaloniki (MTO 0951/MTO 0952, Friday, 19.05.-06.10.2023)

For Christophorus Reisen, the Greek carrier will serve the following destination: Cagliari (MTO 0973/MTO 0974, Sunday, May 21.05 - October 15.10.2023, XNUMX).
