KLM increases flights to Austria

The Dutch airline KLM will be offering three weekly flights between Graz and Amsterdam from June 17, 2021. Vienna will be connected to the Skyteam hub in Schiphol up to three times a day. There are some innovations in the route network compared to summer 2019:

For example, Växjö is temporarily closed and can therefore not be reached. The French destinations of Marseille and Nantes are operated by the sister company Air France. Southampton, Poznan and Cork joined the network in early 2021. In the 2021 summer flight schedule, KLM will fly to four new European destinations, three of which are in the high season:

  • Belgrade - from May 13th up to 7 times a week
  • Verona - from June 26th up to 7 times a week
  • Palma de Mallorca - from June 26th up to 7 times a week
  • Dubrovnik - from June 26th up to 7 times a week

KLM will add flights or use larger aircraft to destinations such as Porto and Ibiza in July and August. Compared to previous years, the Dutch airline will provide relatively more capacity for southern European destinations in Portugal, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Greece. The expected capacity on European flights will be 50 percent to 75 percent. However, this could still change. Color codes that apply to the destinations can change, as can the frequency of flights.

“We are very pleased that there are more travel options again. In this regard, we react as flexibly as possible to market conditions. At KLM we are ready to take our passengers to their destination in a responsible manner. We offer our customers flexible travel guidelines and the highest level of hygiene, ”explains company boss Pieter Elbers.
