Smartlynx Malta landed at Linz-Hörsching Airport for the first time on Monday shortly before 6:4026 a.m. with flight number 6Y00. The Airbus A321F flies on behalf of the logistics group Deutsche Post-DHL and will regularly be found in Upper Austria in the future.

The Smartlynx Group is currently transforming the Maltese offshoot into the Group's cargo department. The 9H-CGA is the first Airbus A321 to be converted into a cargo aircraft. On behalf of DHL, more Smarlynx Malta A321Fs are gradually being operated from Leipzig / Halle.

Last week SR Technics Malta carried out the final technical work at Luqa Airport. The cargo plane has meanwhile been transferred to Leipzig / Halle and carried out the first commercial DHL deployment to Linz in Upper Austria. Aviation Direct published a few days ago a small photo galleryshowing the 9H-CGA at Luqa Airport.
