The summer timetable from Leipzig/Halle Airport offers connections to 26 destinations in 15 countries, with up to 196 flights departing per week.
Athens is new to the flight schedule. Starting in May, Condor will fly to the Greek capital on Mondays and Thursdays. With up to 34 weekly departures to 11 destinations, Condor is the number one leisure airline at Leipzig/Halle Airport. In addition to the new destination Athens, the holiday regions of Fuerteventura, Tenerife, Las Palmas, Funchal, Heraklion, Hurghada, Corfu, Kos, Rhodes and Mallorca are also served.
With up to 19 and 14 departures a week, European Air Charter and Freebird Airlines Europe fly to sunny destinations around the Mediterranean, the Black Sea and the Atlantic. Lufthansa connects Leipzig/Halle Airport up to five or three times a day with the hubs in Frankfurt and Munich. From May, Eurowings will fly to Düsseldorf twice a day, Monday to Friday.
Turkish Airlines is also returning to Leipzig/Halle and is planning daily flights to Istanbul from July. Austrian Airlines flies to Vienna Mondays to Fridays and Sundays, and from June also on Saturdays. Vueling Airlines offers flights to Paris on Mondays and Fridays. “We are optimistic about the summer season.
