With today's Neos flight NO753, the supply chain between Beijing, China, and Nuremberg will come to an end for the time being. From the end of April to the end of May 2021, 14 flights with a total of over 15 million rapid tests (more than 445 tons) and other medical goods were handled.

The import company Emotive Systems GmbH from Paderborn and the sales organization Kingline GmbH from Erlangen organized pre-pandemic music festivals and rented LED screens. In Corona times they got together, changed their saddles without further ado and developed into the leading suppliers of antigen tests.

The customer list ranges from pharmacies to DAX corporations to supermarkets throughout Germany. State governments are also among the buyers who use the rapid tests in schools, for example.

Word creation in air freight

“Prachter” is a combination of the words passenger aircraft and freighter. This constellation comes about because, on the one hand, many cargo planes are currently fully booked due to the high cargo volume and, on the other hand, airlines have free capacities on their passenger aircraft. Instead of passengers, some of the cargo flies on the seats in the cabin, where it is lashed.

The volume of cargo is increasing because cargo is currently not being loaded to the usual extent in scheduled services. Otherwise, on connections such as Nuremberg - Istanbul, cargo is regularly recorded in the aircraft belly
