The Norwegian airline Norse Atlantic Airways intends to start commercial flight operations from Oslo in the second quarter of the current year. The aim is currently – without naming it explicitly – for April 2022. Ticket sales are expected to start in March 2022.
“We can confirm that our goal is to start ticket sales by the end of March and to launch our first flight in the second quarter. We are working to finalize our route network and look forward to announcing our destinations when we are up for sale,” says CEO Bjørn Tore Larsen.
The carrier also announced that it has collective agreements with unions in Norway, the United States and the United Kingdom. The first crew base is built in Fort Lauderdale. The training of around 400 crew members is to start in the next few weeks. Then they want to open more bases, including Oslo.
