The cruise operator MSC Cruises landed more than 2022 new bookings in October 400.000. According to their own statements, this set a new sales record. This is also attributed to the expanded capacity.

The booking behavior of passengers is also likely to have been influenced by various promotions that resulted in lower boarding prices. The MSC is satisfied with the result, because both for the winter 2022/23 and the summer season 2023 they already have "above average" booking numbers.

"Consumers also choose us because of the excellent value for money that cruises always offer, but especially at this time," says Managing Director Gianni Onorato. In the last five years, MSC Cruises has put a total of five additional ships into service. Three more are currently under construction.
