From May 2nd, Corendon Airlines will fly twice a week – Mondays and Fridays – between Heraklion on the island of Crete and Paderborn/Lippstadt. From May 3rd we will also be going to Rhodes – twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The number of sunny destinations that can be reached from Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport will gradually increase over the course of the summer of 2022. From May 2nd, the airline Corendon will be heading back to the popular Greek islands. Four weekly flights are on the flight plan until the end of October, which are spread over the two destinations of Heraklion/Crete and Rhodes and can be booked immediately.

It starts on Monday, May 2nd, with the first flight to Heraklion/Crete, which Corendon will operate on Mondays and Fridays for the next six months. On Tuesday, May 3rd, the island of Rhodes will follow, which can be reached from Paderborn/Lippstadt Airport on Tuesdays and Saturdays in the summer of 2022. Corendon serves the flights with a B738 that has 189 seats.

“The Easter holidays have shown that the desire to travel among people in our region is unbroken. The existing bookings for the first flights to the Greek islands also confirm this impression. Little by little, other attractive destinations will be accessible from our airport in the summer,” explains Airport Managing Director Roland Hüser.
