Somon Air sets course for Munich

The airline Somon Air is launching a non-stop connection between Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, and Munich. This is to be served for the first time on July 6, 2022.

The carrier is initially planning a weekly rotation, which will be carried out on Mondays. The Boeing 737-900ER aircraft will depart Dushanbe Airport at 6:00 a.m. local time. The return flights take off from Munich at around 11:30 a.m. local time.

Somon Air was established in 2008 and is officially owned by Orienbank. The company is run by family members of Emomalij Rahmon, President of Tajikistan. The fleet currently consists of two Boeing 737-300, two B737-800 and two B737-900ER. The average age is 18,6 years.
