The Turkish holiday airline Sunexpress has been a sponsor of the Bundesliga football club Eintracht Frankfurt for some time. With the TC-SPM, another Boeing 737 has now been given a special paint job for the benefit of the sports club.

The new design bears the lettering “Eagle approaching” and is characterized by the club colors red and white on a black background. At the event surrounding the first flight to Frankfurt, both SGE Express planes can be seen side by side at Frankfurt Airport - a real highlight for football and airplane fans. The design with an eagle's head and wing prevailed in online voting against another design that showed the words "Eintracht" framed by players and trophies.

“We are proud to be able to achieve real heights with Eintracht Frankfurt – both in the air and on the pitch,” says Peter Glade, Commercial Director at SunExpress. “We are very pleased to continue to accompany Eintracht on their way to new heights. Our commitment to Eintracht underlines the interest of all sports fans among our customers. Over 14.000 of them voted for the design online.”

SunExpress has been the airline of the Bundesliga football club since the 2017/18 Bundesliga season and the partnership is still a matter of the heart. During the years of cooperation, SunExpress has already been able to accompany the Eagles' cup victories in Berlin in 2018 and in Seville in 2022. The airline also provides numerous fan flights to away games, such as European cup competitions.
