On June 1, 2022, access to the viewing terrace in Terminal 2 of Munich Airport will reopen after more than two years.

Passengers, guests and employees can then enjoy the view of the eastern apron of the airport every day from 8.00 a.m. to 22.00 p.m. Free access to the viewing terrace is via a staircase on level 05 above the check-in area of Terminal 2. An elevator is available for barrier-free access. However, the reopening will not be entirely without restrictions. Because the gastronomic facility will remain closed. For this reason, vending machines with snacks and drinks have been set up, according to the airport in a broadcast. There should also be seating at these places.
