The Lufthansa subsidiary Eurowings Discover will start a long-haul connection from Munich to Malé in the 2022/23 winter flight schedule. According to the current planning status, the Maldives should be served twice a week from the Bavarian airport.

In the forthcoming summer timetable period, the carrier will serve this destination twice a week from Frankfurt am Main. With the change to the cold season, an increase to three cycles per week is planned.

In the summer of 2022, Eurowings Discover will be offering the long-haul destinations Las Vegas, Punta Cana and Cancun from Munich. The connection to the USA will be offered twice a week from March 27, 2022. Punta Cana is recorded on the same day with the same frequency. The Mexican city wants to serve the Lufthansa subsidiary twice a week from March 30, 2022.

Over the course of the summer, Eurowings Discover will also be expanding its flight schedule from Munich to include other short- and medium-haul tourist destinations, including the Canary Islands, over ten Greek islands and Turkey. Five medium-haul Airbus A320 jets are to be stationed there.

No flights to Male in January.

My DER travel agency informed me today that there are no more flights to Male and my booked trip will now take place with Etihad.

    What's going on there?
    Does anyone have more information.

Or is there another “bad game” coming up.

Eurowings Discover has canceled numerous flights for the 2022/23 winter timetable. We have with this link reported about it. Your travel agency has obviously already arranged alternative transport so that you can start your journey.
